Dr. Hunaid Hasan is a US board-certified neurologist with subspecialty certifications in Clinical Neurophysiology and Brain Injury Medicine. He specializes in sports neurology, clinical neurophysiology, epilepsy, neuromuscular medicine, headache medicine, brain injury medicine, acute and chronic stroke management and pain medicine. Dr. Hasan completed his neurology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch/MD Anderson Cancer Center, followed by a Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship at NYU School of Medicine and Sports Neurotrauma fellowship at the University of Florida. He is a qualified neurologist for the NFL Concussion Settlement program. He has served on the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation’s Brain Injury Medicine Examination Practice Analysis committee and as a content developer. His clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and management of concussion and sports-related brain injury, complex headache disorders, neuromuscular diseases, acute and chronic stroke care and seizure syndromes. He is actively engaged in teaching, mentorship, and scholarly work. He has numerous peer-reviewed publications, academic lectures and book chapters on military blast injuries, neural stem cells in spinal cord injury, and epilepsy pathology.
